Yoga and the ADHD Brain

1. Yoga helps increase focus, concentration and clarity of thought

Focus and concentration are some of the biggest challenges for the ADHD brain. Yoga is a powerful took to develop these, bringing peace and stillness to your crowded and busy mind, and allowing you to bette focus on the task in hand.

2. Yoga can help to manage and understand your emotions

Emotional dysregulation is one of the biggest hurdles we ADHD brains have to face. Yoga can help you to recognise, understand, and manage your emotions, making you their master, not their slave.

3. Yoga helps with relaxation and stress reduction

Life with ADHD can be intensely stressful sometimes for a multidude of reasons. And it can seem to be impossible to relax and shake off that stress when your brain just won’t stop! Through Yoga you can develop a valuable toolbox of techniques to release, process and manage your stress, and relax beautifully when you need to.
