Yoga and the ADHD Brain
1. Yoga helps increase focus, concentration and clarity of thought
Focus and concentration are some of the biggest challenges for the ADHD brain. Yoga is a powerful took to develop these, bringing peace and stillness to your crowded and busy mind, and allowing you to bette focus on the task in hand.
2. Yoga can help to manage and understand your emotions
Emotional dysregulation is one of the biggest hurdles we ADHD brains have to face. Yoga can help you to recognise, understand, and manage your emotions, making you their master, not their slave.
3. Yoga helps with relaxation and stress reduction
Life with ADHD can be intensely stressful sometimes for a multidude of reasons. And it can seem to be impossible to relax and shake off that stress when your brain just won’t stop! Through Yoga you can develop a valuable toolbox of techniques to release, process and manage your stress, and relax beautifully when you need to.

Unmasking – who are you under your masks?
How old were you when you first put on a mask? Not the one from the fancy dress shop, to wear when you went trick or treating, or to scare your little brother? Those masks are obvious and can be taken off and discarded easily. And I am DEFINITELY not talking about the...
Connection and Conversation – The Indigo Diaries podcast
I had so much fun talking with Natasha of The Indigo Diaries. After an entertaining series of technical mishaps at the start of our call, we were both laughing before we got started. The conversation that followed was fun, inspiring and a real joy. I am learning that...
Connection and Conversation – the Proudly ADHD… podcast
I was so honoured to be invited to join Cathy Rashidian on her "Proudly ADHD in Work and in Business" podcast. Especially as her previous guests include Peter Shankman, whose book, Faster than Normal, was instrumental in helping me discover my own ADHD back in 2018,...
Connection and Conversation – My Steps to Sobriety podcast
I was honoured to be invited to be Stephan Neff's guest on his 'My Steps to Sobriety' podcast a few weeks ago. Stephan talks about recovery from addiction, and as this is one of my favourite topics, I was delighted to chat with him. I am 100% certain that my...

The ADHD brain can be a wonderful thing indeed. It is creative, passionate, visionary, energetic, and so much more. There are so many gifts that ADHD gives us. Emotionally, we get excited easily, we love deeply, we can empathize with others, we care passionately about...
They’re not character flaws, they’re ADHD symptoms! When my life finally made sense.
For most of my life, I would have described myself in a number of ways, none of them particularly complimentary. Messy. Forgetful. Chaotic. Weird. Highly strung. Moody. Flaky. Disorganised. Mental. Hard work. Not good enough. Shameful. Too noisy. Childish. Unreliable....
