Do you host a podcast?

Hello, I am Esther Nagle

Could I be your perfect guest?

My mission in life is to empower women with ADHD to find peace in the noisy busyness of their minds, to learn to recognise and manage their emotions, and to relax mind and body so that they can find self acceptance and inner peace, and achieve their potential in life.

I would love to be a guest on your podcast if we are a good fit!

Yoga for ADHD

Healing through Yoga

Let me tell you a little bit about me

I’ve overcome numerous challenges in my life, including addiction, bereavement, breakdown, late diagnosis of ADHD, and more.

I am a sober, tattooed, hiking, rock chick, yoga teacher writer with ADHD.

I got sober in 2014 when Yoga teacher training gave me the tools I needed to heal and develop resilience and effective coping strategies so that I could discover the real me beneath the shame and self loathing.

I wrote a book about my recovery, Bent Back into Shape, Beating Addiction Through Yoga, and am planning a new book about Yoga and ADHD to come out in 2021.

I am passionate about the importance of sharing my story and the tools that help me. When I first began this journey into healing, I was inspired by those who shared their stories, who helped me to see that my challenges weren’t cause for shame.

Shame and stigma cannot live where there is authenticity, vulnerability and resilience, and this is what I bring to the conversation.

My Topics

I talk on a number of topics, all of which are interrelated in many ways, but I can focus my talk to look at….

Addiction and Recovery

I am 6 years sober following 20 years of alcoholism. I am also smoke free after more than 20 years of smoking (cigarettes and marijuana).

My recovery came through Yoga, when teacher training gave me the tools and practices I needed to heal my past, and manage my emotions in the present.

Living with ADHD

I didn’t learn that I have ADHD until I was 45, and was formally diagnosed at 46. I am acutely aware of the ways that my undiagnosed ADHD has impacted on my entire life, and have had to do a lot of deep inner work and resilience building to allow me to move forward.

The tools and practices that helped me get sober are the same ones that I use and teach for management of ADHD.

Yoga as a tool for healing and self discovery

Yoga has transformed my life. I have no doubt that it is the reason I am still alive. I was headed down a dark path and Yoga lit the path home to me.

I love to share how Yoga can offer so much more than the postures it is famous for ,that it is a powerful system for personal and spiritual growth, and mental wellbeing

Healing through Nature

I started walking in the hills of South Wales after my brother died in 2005. I fell in love with walking, with being in nature, and the peace and stillness it gave me and my turbulent emotions.

Walking became my bereavement therapy, and is now as important a part of my wellbeing practice as Yoga and adequate hydration! There are so many benefits to time in nature, and I love to share what I have learned.

Podcasts I have appeared on

I have been honoured to appear on many podcasts over recent years. All have focused on transformation and healing through Yoga in some way. Most have been centred around recovery from addiction, and all have Yoga as a foundation.

I would love to be able to add your podcast to this list!
